Ba ,Da Da Da, Da, Da….Tiki Time

Aloha Party Pool People,

Life at Bali Hastings Hai is Pooliscious!

But there are always a few little things to do in order to make paradise perfect. This week the Tiki Torches were put in place and had their inaugural lighting ceremony.

They created the perfect extra lighting and atmosphere for a Bali Evening. For a moment there was a little flash back to the Grand Wailea on Maui. The only difference being their Tikis are lit at 5:30 via a gas line and a switch; ours are lit at any time via a Korey and a lighter.

Evenings at “The Hai” are really quite enjoyable. Whether it’s an evening dip in the pool or spa, or cocktails in The Lounge. All is good in the suburban tropics. In fact this Saturday evening Moomba and I enjoyed a late evening concert while relaxing in The Lounge. No it wasn’t a Steel Drum band it was more like a Bad Prom Band. They were playing somewhere near by (near enough to be heard). I was doing my best to enjoy them until they started the local rendition of “Sweet Home Alabama” when I promptly had a bad flash back to a concert at the American Legion Hall (which was next to the Senior Center) if that gives you a better mental picture.

Music aside The Lounge is quite the cool and relaxing spot.

Other happenings at The Hai include bamboo fencing gracing some of the yard walls, the hanging of the official “Tiki Bar” sign and a brave attempt at hooking up the rock speaker. Even with Korey’s efforts to crawl in the crawl spaces made for little people we couldn’t get the speaker to work. Next up Da AV Guys will need to be called into action.

We also did a little entertaining this weekend with the Jenkel/Campos Duet trekking down the mountain to sample the surroundings and take a dip. Then we hosted a Matt Cox Bday party with a group pool test put into effect…whew we passed another test.

Next up the NEW YORK Tullochs and the Southies hit town this weekend for The Hai’s next big test. FOR GET A BOUT IT!

Again thanks for the love and support and surf’s up anytime!

Hang Loose!
