Wow it’s unbelievable to say but the big finishing touch has been put on Bali Hastings Hai…The BBQ Island has arrived and looks AWESOME!
It will be officially hooked up tomorrow and then we’ll be chillin and grillin… woo hoo!
Of course we will not wait until tomorrow for it’s first use however as it is technically the Tiki Bar so the first cocktails will be served this evening.
So all the big projects are done but there are still some little things (I guess there always be) to keep us busy.
We do love it all though and have been putting it to incredibly good use. This weekend in fact we continued the pre grand opening tests with the NY and SoCal Tullochs and the Land-McGowen Clan.
It passed the following tests with flying colors:
1. 3 year old boulder jumping into the pool test
2. Engaged couple moonlight spa test
3. Near 60 something float and flop test
4. The child safe “hot pool” test (and I’m referring to Jack and Brody as children, not Kelly and I)
6. The put every pool towel to use for water absorption test
5. Sunday macaroni and meatballs on the patio test (Tony Soprano would be proud)
And we need to give a special shout out to Big Frankie from Pomona, and AMan for helping korey with the outdoor heater assembly and deck stair lights installation. Way to go guys!
Oh and Kelly and Eli we SO LOVE the outdoor heater! It gives “hot summer nights” a whole new meaning.
