Howdy,
The Hai Gang ventured up to the California Gold Country for a second year of olive picking. In dark contrast to last year it was 80 degrees, sunny and the crew was very close to picking two tons of olives off those beautiful 100 trees at Olive Oaks Ranch.
Moomba, Kai and Zack did their fare share of work…chasing balls, monitoring the picking process from the cool shade the olive trees and making sure all children were kept occupied.
It is possible there may have been more dogs than pickers (I think I counted 20 dogs) but both human and canine crew members all got along and had a great time followed by a big bonfire, snacks and drinks down the street at Raven Bear Ranch.
A good time was had by all now let’s hope the olive oil equals the quality of fun and hard work.
