Happy June Pool Party People!
We hope your summer is starting off with a splash. Nine days into the month and we’ve been busy little Bali Bees.
We have set-up a new place to chill and be still at THEHAI…MAS’s Bali Bistro.Named after cousin MAS from Mahwah (the underwriter for this new chill zone) it’s a great place to sip a glass of wine and watch the sunset over THEHAI at the end of a long day.
So thanks MAS for the new bistro, we can’t wait to have you officially christen it in July.
In other news as much as we so adore THEHAI every now and then we are encouraged to leave our tropical paradise to see the other wonders of teh world. So last weekend we ventured with 1o other friends to one of the most beautiful places in CA if not the world…Hetch Hetchy Resevoir. Yes for you West Coasters that’s the same place a lot of your water comes from and no we didn’t desecrate your drinking in any way. Hetch Hetchy Valley is part of Yosemite National Park and one of it’s best kept secrets.
There is beautiful hiking around the resevoir and you can get up close and personal with the waterfalls. If you don’t mind keeping an eye out for local bears and wildlife you’ll be in for a very special treat hiking there. The hiking trails are open to the public for day use.
If you are lucky enough to know someone who works for the SF Public Utilities Commission (which I am) then you can spend the night in one of their rustic accomodations.

In other HAI News remember the 2007 Summer Signature Cocktail Competition is underway. Our most recent entry is from Elke with the Trader Vic’s Mai Tai recipe which we will be tasting very soon ;).
