Aloha HAI Fans!
It’s amazing we are already 12 days into July…why does summer go so fast?
This weekend is THE HAI’s big primp weekend. Things are in full swing at BHH and the annual trimming, nipping, tucking and beautifying are all in order.
The plants have started to mature their second year thanks to a warmer winter this past year so a lot more pruning is in order. Especially the bamboo (korey’s personal project).
Kai, continues to explore her inner landscaper and lighting designer which makes keeping the water flowing and the lights on a never ending challenge.
A few new things are in place this year:
- The beautiful Pool Equipment Tiki Hut Matt built last year will get it’s first full summer viewing.
- New bougainvillea plants on the side to brighten things up.
- New color pool rockets…per Master Brody’s request
- A few air plants for the waterfall wall.
- A couple of new pool toys.
- Mix beer assortment…Tecate, Longboards (our Hawaiian favorite) and Blue Moon (the American sibling to Canada’s Rickard White).
And thanks to Mother’s continues heat waves we are certainly getting our money’s worth from the pool this year.
So life is good at BHH and we hope that your summer is going swimmingly!
